Megga history

Megga Cups began after I speculatively pitched some egg cup designs to a manufacturer through my YouTube channel. It started as a bit of a joke – but they apparently recognised my eye for a cup, because they chose one of the designs and produced 50 copies.

Suddenly, I had to sell them. The plan was to raise money for Fresh Start For Hens, a brilliant organisation that rehomes ex-commercial laying hens. Online sales were quiet, so I opened London’s first egg cup shop. It went viral on TikTok and we sold out in two days, raising nearly £200 for the charity.

And that was it. I’d had a taste of the egg cup industry – and now I’m on a mission to become the number-one egg cup business in the UK…
